Description:
This patient wanted to improve her overall body contour. She was bothered by her “hip dips” and the transition from her lower back into the buttocks. She underwent power assisted liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and back and the fatty tissue was used to augment her hips. She now has a smooth convex contour to the lower back, hip, and lateral thigh. This result is more than 9 months after surgery and should be quite stable now. The fat transferred was about 300 cc into each hip.
