Gluteal Crease Remodeling
Wake Plastic Surgery proudly serves Cary, Raleigh, and the surrounding areas.
Gluteal crease remodeling, also known as a lower buttock tuck, buttock fold excision or banana roll, is a cosmetic procedure designed to remove excess skin and fatty tissue from the area where the buttocks meet the upper thighs. This technique helps redefine the natural gluteal fold, improving the overall contour of the lower body and creating a smoother, more sculpted transition from the buttocks to the thighs. This procedure is especially beneficial for patients who experience skin laxity due to weight loss, pregnancy, or genetics that result in longer gluteal muscles or a deepened crease. The incision is placed within the natural fold to help keep scarring discreet. Gluteal crease remodeling can also be combined with liposuction of the hips, thighs, or abdomen to further enhance your silhouette. If you’re looking to restore a firmer, more youthful lower body contour, this may be an ideal option.
