Why You Should Choose Diamond Glow!

Posted March 26, 2024 in MedSpa Treatments, Skin Care Treatments

Facials are a fantastic way to treat the skin, but it’s important to know what type of facial is best for you. The Diamond Glow is a great option for exfoliation and luminous end results but is often compared to the popular HydraFacial. Here at the MedSpa at Wake Plastic Surgery, we prefer Diamond Glow for many reasons – read on to find out if this treatment is right for you!

The Diamond Glow uses a closed-loop vacuum with a diamond tip to manually extract and exfoliate the skin for a smooth and radiant finish. This non-invasive treatment can also be customized for specific skin needs. There are six diamond tips and five serums that are combined in various ways to help with hydrating the skin, treating discoloration, and adding antioxidants. This facial also has the ability to focus on sensitive areas of the face such as around the eyes and lips. The Diamond Glow provides corrective care to help with acne or other skin concerns you may have. The end results will have your skin feeling fresh, yet light and dry to the touch. There is little to no downtime after this treatment, pardoning some redness if your skin is more sensitive, and it is a fan-favorite among the staff here at Wake Plastic for adding that little extra glow to your complexion!

The HydraFacial on the other hand is a chemical exfoliation that uses glycolic and salicylic acid to hydrate the skin. This type of facial cleanses the skin to remove dead skin cells and loosen pores but is not as customizable or effective at targeting specific skin care needs.

All in all, Diamond Glow is a more versatile, true-to-you facial that can be customized to your specific skin type and needs. If you’re looking for a relaxing treatment with no downtime that can also target your skincare goals, you can’t go wrong with Diamond Glow!
